Saliceto is located in the stretch of the northern Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily,

called Costa Saracena, at 150 m from the sea and 2 km far from the motorway.

Land faces the uncontaminated blue sea of the Gulf of Patti,

that stretches as far as the eye can see, passed splendid localities as Gioiosa Marea, Capo Calavà  and the Lakes of Marinello.

Saliceto faces the Aeolian Islands can be reached through a daily ferry service.

Guests can visit the museum of "Memories" where tools once used in the rural countryside by the people of Nebrody are in display.

Approx 13 km far you can visit  Tindari, an ancient church also famous for the remains of the Greek

amphi - theatre which is still used today for theatrical performances in its spectacular grounds.

At the foot of the Church , you can see the Lakes of Marinello :

It is an unique, very characteristic and full of atmosphere background!

Also a few minutes away there are the archaeological remains of "Villa Romana" , plenty of mosaic works and plenty of ceramic outlets.

There are also many outlets that sell tipycal Sicilian products cultivated in the traditional Sicilian

way, so that you can discover the original flavours of tipycal Sicilian production.
